Community Living Services (I/DD/Residential Group Homes in Arizona)
Community Living Services help people who have disabilities to become as self-sufficient as possible within a home environment. Services focus on home and community integration, engagement in activities of daily living, lifespan issues, individual needs, strengths, abilities and preferences. Small, three to five person group home settings provide an alternative living situation for individuals served by Copa Health. Orientation to community, health and wellness education, menu planning and meal preparation, environmental safety, advocacy, decision-making, and maintaining a home are skills taught in the homes. Copa Health provides 24/7 supervision. Group homes for adults and group homes for elderly are popular living arrangements for individuals in Arizona who require some form of assistance with daily living activities. These facilities are designed to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for residents.
