Staying active improves mental health. Studies show people who exercise at least 2-3 times weekly experience significantly less depression, anger, and stress compared to people that exercise less or not at all. Ideally, exercise should include both cardiovascular and strength training. Start out slow and increase your time to avoid injuries.
