COPA HEALTH ANNOUNCES JOYANN BOOK AS CHIEF INFORMATION AND DIGITAL OFFICER
MESA, AZ, JANUARY 30, 2020: Copa Health, Powered by Marc Community Resources and Partners in Recovery, one of Arizona’s leading providers of mental health services, announces that JoyAnn Book will assume the role of Chief Information and Digital Officer.
“Not only does JoyAnn have a strong technology background by way of creating one of the first social determinants of health applications, but she also has expertise in the financial implications of launching a variety of technology initiatives,” said Copa Health CEO Dr. Shar Najafi-Piper.
Over the past ten years, Book has earned a reputation for leading healthcare information technology (HIT) product and technology architecture, provider experience management and digital customer experience teams to create workflow and innovation for healthcare systems and providers of all sizes.
Her expertise in Finance, Business and Digital Strategy allows her to apply innovation cycles and discovery frameworks to improve both patient care and involvement. She is passionate about filling the digital void in healthcare in order to improve patient experiences and clinical outcomes. Her unique background allows her to identify strategic and financial incentives linked to specific experience and engagement plans.
She has a dual MBA in Healthcare Enterprise Management and Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from Stanford Business School.
